Alix Desforges – Researcher

Alix Desforges has been a researcher for the Castex Chair of Cyber Strategy since February 2013 and is completing her PhD at French Institute of Geopolitics where she received a masters in geopolitics in 2009. After studying for a geography degree, Alix Desforges joined the French Institute of Geopolitics where she became interested in information technology and communication in geopolitics. Her PhD is based on “Geopolitical Analysis of Cyberspace: What are the Stakes for Security on the French Territory”. Beneficiary of the Strategic Research Institute at the Ecole Militaire for two years, she also received financial support from the IHEDN. In parallel to her university activities, Alix Desforges has developed contacts in the private sector through internships for the European Company of Strategic Intelligence (CEIS) and CERT LEXSI. While preparing her masters, she also undertook project relating to the cartography of cyber-criminality for the Division Commander, Christian Aghroum, in charge of the Central Office for the Fight against Criminality related to Information Technology and Communication.

Amélie Marlier – Assistant Communication

Amélie Marlier is assistant communication at the Castex Chair of Cyber Strategy. She is graduated of CELSA, school in the information and communication sciences. During her studies, she specialized in corporate  and institutional communication.
